Hey there fellow cancer; not sure if you still read this but I'll post it up anyway.
Similarly to Matthew, I'm not sure how I met you, I've got a shit brain and a very terrible memory. I think I also knew your name from year 8, were we all in the same Tech class? I wonder, how did I ever start talking to you? Was it when I had a shared blog with Roxanne and we decided to follow everyone and just keep up with everybody's lives? I don't really know. What I did know though was your posts were always ambiguous and for some reason that drew my attention. You see, there are so many quiet people and you were one of them, so it troubled me, even though I didn't really know you. We started talking on msn, I commented every now and then on the blog then yeah it became a regular friendship. I still found it hard to talk to you at school but hey eventually we clicked. I remember how I mentioned something about you and I having the same astrological/star sign and duh obviously like me when I was first told about astrology, I didn't really give a rats. But hey it proved to be accurate didn't it? It was easy for us to relate, we could understand each other so easily. What stood out most of all was your perseverance. The things you had to deal with and go through for quite a while, 3 or 4 years am I correct? You always had the the ability to stay strong despite how things were around you and that's what I like about you. Regarding what you wrote to me the other day, I could and definitely will say the same. You're a very close friend to me, same as Matthew and the others and I hope and I will make the effort to stay in contact with you.
Like I, I have trouble in not being nice, you and I are generally too nice. People like us end up becoming push overs and honestly just like you mentioned, maybe change is for the best, maybe all this niceness isn't a good thing, what if people like us changed? "Hey ...... can you please help me-" "No fuck off" yeah we wouldn't really be push overs now would we? Our caring side would vanquish and people might actually realise how rare it is to find genuine people. I'm not boasting or anything, most of the people in A block are all similarly nice but I'm saying, and I'm going to assume we have similar views; if you have a friend who is as selfless as you are, they better appreciate you more because people like that are hard to find, nowadays the most common type of people you'd find are two-faced.
As for the negative stuff; like I said, maybe you're being taken advantaged of too easily, and maybe if you were a little more selfish, you'd be able to get out of it, people would actually try to make up for using you.
You know what you need to do, things have changed but from now on it's all up to your decisions and how you perceive things.
